1. Images collects and displays at real time: it uses the 8-channel video camera with definition of D1 and shoots the conditions in the whole journey; displays the images of the road ahead and standard working condition of the driver; make motion detection of the working condition at the un-operational end in the locomotive.

2. see the fire condition and alarming pictures sending function: monitor the temperature in the room and smog condition; once unusual conditions appear, it will alarm and send related pictures to the control center on the ground.

3. Video storage and downloading function: it adopts the storage means of hard disk compression with storage capacity of 500G (can be extended); it can record at least 10 days of the messages of the whole journey or points video/audio profiles.

4. Flexible video playback function: it can review or playback of the video according to monitoring place, time and kilometers mark. During the playback, it can go forward or behind fast or pause.

5. Long-distance video transmission function: the system adopts 3G wireless LAN and sends video flow at real time.

6. Recording function: every video camera is equipped with microphone which can record the voice distinctly at real time.

7. Points images snap shooting function: it can snap shoot 15 points: starting the train, stopping it, monitoring actions, unusual pipe press, unusual speed, personal emergency, side-line running, shunting, shunting initiating, out of shunting, red yellow signal lights, special areas, video on or off, continuing hand-over etc.

8. Provide accurate locomotive message function： it can get information of key parts of the locomotive: pressure sensor data locomotive signal information, information of photoelectric speed sensor and record them from LKJ2000. People in the monitoring center can selectively view the video according to real requirements.

9. Ground analysis processing function: the analysis interface is jointed by three image, voice and monitoring information. It can reshow the operational condition of the locomotive and the driver’s operational condition with multi-screens synchronously.

This System is an important part of car safety system (6A system). It uses the 8-channel video camera with definition of D1 and shoots the conditions in the whole journey; displays the images of the road ahead, the driver’s room and electrical room, which can be seen by the drivers and conductors and inspectors on the ground. It plays an important role in accident preventing, analyzing and supervising the conductor’s operation. This system has already used in Harbin Railway Bureau.
