“Trouble of moving freight car detection system (TFDS)”collects trains’ images that are passing by through the cameras installed on the both sides of the track and inspectors can detect the troubles of the trains through the images in the computer room. It has a heavy workload and it’s easy to make mistakes and oversight.

    This system comprehensively adopted the technologies of digital images processing and machine vision and analyzes the collected images and automatically identifies the freight car’s trouble then gives an alarm, which reduces the manual workload.
